Full Spot Color Control and ICC Management
Piktor 3.0 has extensive color management including spot color handling and ICC profiles. Users control whether spot colors are preserved or converted to process colors using file specified simulation values. Each spot color is handled individually or all spots can be preserved or converted.
Piktor's full ICC profile suppot includes separate profiles for RGB, CMYK and grayscale input. Embedded files can be honored or ignored. Ouput profiles can utilize an optional simulation profile for accurate proofing. Output rendering intent choices are Perceptual, Absolute Colorimetric or Relative Colorimetric for precise control.
Preserve Brisque & CEPS Equipment Investment
Piktor 3.0 CEPS converts Scitex Brisque and TIFF/IT files to efficient compact PostScript, PDF and PDF/X formats, enabling CEPS users to exchange files with modern workflow systems. CT and LW elements are combined into a single file. User can elect to leave LW and CT elements at their original resolutions or combine the LW and CT layer to a single CT at a user specified resolution.
Input formats:
TIFF/IT filesets including CT, LW, HC and FP. Scitex CT/LW filesets including CT, CH, NCT, LW, LH, NLW, PG and ASSG* page file formats.
* ASSG Imposition files are not supported in retail version of Piktor but are available for OEM implementations.
Output formats:
